DESCRIPTION
The Miami Heat won their second consecutive NBA championship on June 30, 2013, when they defeated the San Antonio Spurs in a seven game series. The title was the franchise’s third overall title, with the previous two coming in 2006 and 2012. The 12 – 13 season was Miami’s 25th year in the NBA, which they acknowledged by wearing a silver 25 patch throughout the championship season.
